Flexamat manufactures a vegetated concrete block mat for erosion control and site stabilization. The product consists of 6.5" x 6.5" concrete blocks with a 2.25" profile locked together and embedded in a high-strength geogrid, with 1.5" spacing between blocks to allow flexibility and vegetation growth, and is packaged in rolls for installation. The mat is used for applications including slope stabilization, channels, low water crossings, inlet and outlet protection, shorelines, airport erosion control, flood control, landfills, and river and streambank protection.
